- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published June 18, 1980 with caption: "Car Explodes - This is all that remains of a 1978 vehicle which struck a hydro pole on First Avenue early Sunday morning and burst into flames. The driver, Mrs. Sheila Hewitt of 20 Opechee Street, St. Thomas, was killed, and her husband, Gerald, a passenger, was critically injured with lacerations and burns to 50 per cent of his body." Gerald Hewitt died of his injuries in July, 1980.
