- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 9, 1978 with caption: "Surveying Damage - James E. Jenkins of 230 Main Street, Belmont, investigates dmage done tohis house after a runaway gravel truck slammed into the front of it. The truck was empty at the time. Mr. Jenkins says the home's concrete foundation was responsible for preventing the vehicle from crashing throughthe house. The truck owned by Ruckle Construction Limited of Brownsville, tore a large gap in the home's front, but there was no damage to beams located near the point where the truck knocked a large piece of concrete from the foundation. Pictured looking on are, from left to right, Mrs. Madeleine Jenkins, a niece, of RR 2 Belmont and Ella Martin, a neighbour."
