- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published January 27, 1976 with captions: "Clear the Wreckage - Workers endeavor to clear the load of lumber that was spilled during a truck-van accident on Highway 401, between Highway 126 and Wellington Road, in the eastbound lane, early Monday morning. The driver of the lumber truck was killed in the mishap. The truck struck a panel truck with six men inside, one of whom was also killed, two badly injured, and three others also injured."; "Total of 37 - Police reported 37 separate vehicles were involved in the accidents that closed both lanes of Highway 401 between Wellington Road and Highway 126, Monday, from about 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Two men were killed and several others seriously injured. Dense fog has been cited as the major contributing factor to the accidents, which took place in four separate spots along the short stretch of Highway 401 between Wellington Road and Highway 126 (Highbury Road)."
