- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published February 8, 1972 concerning an automobile accident involving Robert Thornton and Charles Longstaff, Port Burwell, Ontario. Published with caption: "Police and ambulance attendants are seen here hoisting Robert Thornton of Port Burwell up a steep icy grade near Port Bruce after the truck in which he was riding left Elgin County Road 24 and came to rest at the bottom of the 75-foot embankment. A second man, Charles Longstaff, 41, of Port Burwell, climbed out of the truck, made his way up the hill, and walked to a gas station where he notified police."
