Adult Children of Robert H. Baker

History / Biographical: Robert Hicks Baker was born on October 1, 1824 to William Baker and Margaret Baker (nee Hicks) in Corwall, England. He married Elizabeth (Betsy) May and, after her death, he married Martha Bainard. He died on April 28, 1909, and is buried at Scottsville Cemetery. William Henry Baker was born in 1851 to Robert Hicks Baker and Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker (nee May). He married Elizabeth Brown on October 17, 1876; after her death in 1921, he married Emily Banks (nee Dean) on July 31, 1923. He died in 1939, and is buried at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario. Elizabeth Ann Baker was born in about 1852 to Robert Hicks Baker and Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker (nee May). She married Harvey Kilbourne (1847-1942) on January 14, 1885, and they had a son, Ferrier Baker Kilbourne (1888-1968). She died on September 14, 1934, and is buried at Kilworth Cemetery. Isaac Baker was born on November 21, 1860, to Robert Hicks Baker and Elizabeth (Betsy) Baker (nee May). He married Elizabeth Blewett on October 31, 1888, and they had two children: Frederick Vernon Baker (1890-1967) and Eva Elizabeth Baker (1892-1967). He died on September 14, 1940, and is buried at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario. Robert Ansel Baker was born on December 30, 1880 to William Henry Baker and Elizabeth Baker (nee Brown). He married Margaret Ellen Facey on December 24, 1902. He died in 1943, and is buried at Woodland Cemetery, in London, Ontario.

Photograph was part of a scrapbook; see M6 S1 Sh7 B1 F3 for file-level description. In the scrapbook, two identifications were provided for the photograph. The first identification is: "Surviving adult children of Robert BAKER & spouses: On left Tom & Lizzie, in centre Isaac & Elizabeth, back right William Henry BAKER." and the second identification was later provided by Frank Baker, who identified the individuals as follows: Back row, left to right: Robert (possibly Robert Ansel Baker), Ferrier Kilbourne, and William Henry Baker. Front row, left to right: Lizzie (likely Elizabeth Whitwam, wife of Thomas Baker), Harvey Kilbourne, Elizabeth Ann Kilbourne (nee Baker), and Elizabeth Brown.
