2_1925: “Special speaker at the annual United Nations observances of the St. Thomas Rotary Club was Herbert A. Mowat, member of the national executive of the United Nations Association of Canada. Mr. Mowat has just returned from the 7th session of the United Nations Assembly currently meeting in New York. His address to Rotarians and guests in the Trinity Church Parish Hall was one of the highlights of the Rotary season. Shown above left to right are Warden R. K. McNeil, Alderman J. M. Stirling, the Hon. F. S. Thomas, Mr. Mowat, Ken Patton, president of the Rotary Club, Burdett McNeel, and W. Scott McKay.”
