2_1855: “Members of the Grace United Church Drama Club who form the cast of the new three-act comedy, “Don’t Darken My Door,” produced this fall and presented for the first time Thursday evening, appear in this group photograph. The premiere was so well received that the Drama Club has arranged to present a repeat performance at the church the evening of Oct. 27. The play has also been booked for performances in Port Stanley, Ingersoll, Yarmouth Centre and Fingal and other bookings are expected. Left to right in the front row of the above picture are Vivian McCaw, Keith Merritt and Shirley Winter, and in the back row, Mrs. Norman Kennedy, director, Donna McCaw, Kenneth Verrell, Duncan Graham, Aura Graham and Lois Gilchrist. The stage director is Al Gilchrist, manager is Eric Fletcher, properties manager is Jean Murdoch and Phyllis Bell is book-holder.”
