2_1215: “Scores of Aylmer children took part Friday afternoon in a parade through town on wheeled vehicles of all sorts that children have, all gaily decorated with ribbon and colored crepe paper, flags and other ornaments. Two of the youngest in the parade were Donald Campbell, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell, St. Andrew street, who entered the event with his little tractor, and Nancy Truman, 3 ½, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Truman. Here seen in her pretty white dress and parasol.”
