- Scope and Content
- Three photographic negatives of the $1000 cheque presentation to Jack Smyth of Port Burwell, in the Straffordville Community Hall fundraiser, on December 31, 1971. An envelope with the identification of what is depicted in the negatives, is stored with the negatives.
- 220a was published in the Tillsonburg News on January 5, 1971 with the following caption: "Eleven gone and one to go. Jack Smyth of Port Burwell won the $1000 draw at the Straffordville Lions dance on New Year's Eve. Lions President W.L. (Punch) Locker sold the ticket and is presenting the cheque to Mr. Smyth at the regular Lions meeting on Monday. The final draw will be held on January 28".
