2_438: “Guests of honor at the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce’s spring opening dinner in the Colonel Thomas Talbot Room, Grand Central Hotel, last Friday evening, are shown above, left to right: Corporal Frank Mills and Private Art Freeman, who were with the Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry in Korea; Major J.F. (Jack) Peterson, second in command of the Royal Canadian Regiment who was speaker at the dinner; Flying Officer Lloyd Swanton of the R.A.F.; Private, first class, Ron Hewitt, who served with the signal corps, United States Army; and Private Harold Roberts, who saw service in Korea with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps.”
