Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal, May 22, 1951, page twelve: “Homemaking Girls at Achievement Day.” 1_2098: “A representative group of Homemaking Club girls at the spring Achievement Day held in the First United Church lecture room last Saturday. They are shown with food demonstrations in connection with their unit project “The Cereal Shelf.” The girls judged family menus and whole meat muffins among other items on the program.
