- Photographs of members of the 91st Battalion reunion parade. Anderson's Department Store, Talbot Street, is shown in the background. Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal: "91st Battalion of First World War Hold Reunion: Participating in the reunion of members of the 91st Battalion (Elgin's Own) of World War I were three of the oldest shown in the bottom row of the picture at top [1_1924]: R. M. Martin, 74 years old, 254 1/2 Wellington street; Bob Newton, 85 years old, 13 Mitchell street; H. E. Grogan, 80 years old on May 21, 29 Pearl street. Standing are L. M. (Dick) Heard, secretary-treasurer (left), and Roy Palmerston, president. These men all marched in the parade to the cenotaph and return. Lower picture [1_1922] shows the men on their way to the cenotaph, where a wreath was laid. (See story on page two)."
