Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal, 1_669: "Heads of Chambers of Commerce Talk It Over: C. Bruce Hill, president of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (left), who addressed the large gathering here Tuesday evening, and Peter B. Buchanan, president of the St. Thomas Chamber of Commerce, who presided over the meeting."
1_668: "A large air-brush painting of Colonel Thomas Talbot, founder of the Talbot Settlement, adorned the Grand Central's new Colonel Talbot Room at the Chamber of Commerce dinner there Tuesday evening. The painting is the work of a local artist, Ray Eberts. It will have a permanent place in the new room."
