- R13 S3 Sh6 B3 314b was published in the Rodney Mercury on May 7, 1981, with the caption: "County, Provincial and advance honors were presented to 4-H Club members and leaders Saturday, May 2nd, at Achievement Day at WESS County honors went to Lynda Jacques of Dutton, Provincial Honors to Edwina Blakely of Tyrconnell, Advanced Honors to Linda Vandyk of Rodney, leader of the New Glasgow No. 2 club. and County Honors to Alanna Carroll, Rodney, of the Clachan Club. Back row: County honors to Sandra VanBreda of New Glasgow, Gayle Patterson of Dutton, Lynne Campbell and Cynthia McCallum of Cowal and Allison beer of Clachan Club. Bonnie Lemon of the Eagle Club, was absent to receive county honors, and Nancy McFadden of the New Glasgow No. 2 club, was absent to receive provincial honors."

She also presented a framed certificate to Mrs. Marion Fleming for having been a leader 10 years."
