Alana won first in the best decorated wagon with pet."; R13 S3 Sh6 B2 107f was published in the West Lorne Sun on September 9, 1976, with the caption: "Knight's of Columbus float won second prize and featured Norm Rose and Cy Caron as standard bearers, an old time orchestra in the back of the truck of Norbert Rivest, Harold Marr and caller Earl Bobier. Square dancers on the float were: Ray and Trudy Swain, Ed and Thelma Kalita, Christine Kalita and Michael Cowan, Kay and Wilfred Cowan, plus Agnes Rose, Astrd Caron, and Sally Payne."
