- W9 B7 2a was published in the West Lorne Sun on February 21, 1974, with the caption: "West Lorne Public School's Grades 1, 2, and 3 moved to the new Senior Public School Thursday and by Monday felt quite at home in their new surrondings, even to having their artwork hung on bulletin boards. Mrs. Geraldine Hind is the teacher, who was responsible for moving from the old to the new school. Mrs. Norine Johnston, teacher of the opportunity class, also had to make arrangements to make the move, which seems incredible when the county Board of Education can look after so many other minute details, yet left the work of moving to the women teachers."
