- Scope and Content
- Four black-and-white negative photographs featuring the Aldborough County Council, touring the library branches, on June 27, 1985.
- W9 B2 314a was published in the Rodney Mercury on June 27, 1985, with the caption: "County Council's Library Committee toured libraries Thursday, Rodney's being the first. Finding everything inside in good condition, members posed for this picture in front before leaving for West Lorne. Left to right, they are: Reeve Harley Lashbrook, Warden Ray Lavereau of Port Stanley, Art Miskelly of Aylmer, Colin Morrison of Dutton, Ms. Ruth Prouse, Assistant Librarian of St. Thomas, Rodney Librarian Marjorie DeGraw, and County Librarian Elgin Wells. Reeve Bob Coles showed the committee the deteriorating condition of the back of the library - eavestrough, roof, and fence - and was admonished by the committee for he and council not maintained the building better previously at village expense, because the county only rents the library, having nothing to do with paying for maintenance. Absent were Chairman James Sheils, Mrs. Hazel Lyons, and Mrs. Joan Wakeling."
