- Frome had two churches at one time, but when the Methodist Church was destroyed by fire, the congregation joined with the Congregational Church, built 1888. Still standing today on Hwy 3, it is now called the Frome United Church. At the 100th Anniversary services in 1919, shown here, the centenary sermons were preached by the Rev. J.B. Silcox, grandson of the church's founder, Rev. Joseph Silcox.
