Scope and Content: Three black-and-white negative photographs featuring the Rodney Agricultural Society's annual award banquet, on December 14, 1966.; R12 S1 Sh5 B1 221a was published in the Rodney Mercury on December 14, 1966, with the caption: "Aldborough 4-H Beef calf club members received awards, prizes, gifts, and prize money at Wednesday night's Aldborough Agricultural Society's annual Awards Banquet in Rodney Legion Hall. Standing according to marks attained are: Keith Terry and Alan Carroll, Crinan, Fred Cronkite, New Glasgow, Frankie Fleming, Kintyre, Paul Smith, Rodney, and Douglas McCallum, Crinan, Absent were Curtis McCallum and Don Watterworth."; R12 S1 Sh5 B1 221b was published in the Rodney Mercury on December 14, 1966, with the caption: "Trophies were presented Wilfred McMillan, winner of the Elgin Co-op awards for having the highest scores in the field corn competition. The presentation was made by Elgin Co-op employee Ray Schnekenburger. Mrs. Marie Spence, Muirkirk, and Mrs. Robert King, New Glasgow, both teachers at Rodney Public School, accepted the James Black Memorial Trophy and the A. T. Lashbrook Memorial Trophy for grades 7 and 8 and grades 1 to 6, respectively, for having the highest number of points in competition at the fair with other schools in the area."
