- A notebook with handwritten notes by Sarah Ann Backus, wife of Thomas Leslie Pearce. Includes an account of her trip to Western Canada with her husband, Thomas, in 1911, when they visited their sons Walter and Leslie. When they returned home, their son Ernest had built his home where he was living with his wife, Alice Lisle Morris. Also includes an account of Sarah's trip to Western Canada in 1939.
