- Abbott House, in St. Thomas, built in circa 1857 by Asa Hoard. The home was later known as Sherwood Place and later became part of the property of Pinafore Park.
Photographs taken by Canon Reverand Norman Morris in circa 1933 and were presented to the Elgin Historical Society in a presentation "Old Houses of East Elgin" by Mrs. Rogers and Ella Lewis.
