- Claris house, located at Stanley and Victoria Streets in St. Thomas, built by William Hutchinson between 1855-1862. Owned by George T. Claris in 1864. The photographs were taken by Canon Reverand Norman Morris in circa 1933 and were presented to the Elgin Historical Society in a presentation "Old Houses of East Elgin" by Mrs. Rogers and Ella Lewis.
