- File contains postcards, envelopes and stamps collected by Robert Moore, showing postmarks from towns in the Township of Dunwich, excluding Dutton. The binder was labelled "Dunwich except Dutton" by Moore. File also contains photocopies of articles related to local postal history, including about the Iona Station post office and a fire that occurred in 1985, and includes a copy of the Talbot Review published by the Ministry of Natural Resources - Aylmer District, 1976. File also includes a photograph and newspaper clipping about the history of the post office in Campbellton, Ontario. File also contains some early correspondence (1840-1856), collected for their local postmarks, with correspondence that includes Colonel Thomas Talbot and Mahlon Burwell. These items include:
- -A letter addressed to Reverand Proudfoot (London) from James Skinner (Southwold), dated May 13, 1840. Includes a postmark from Port Talbot.
- -A letter from John B. Askin (London) from M. Burwell (likely Mahlon Burwell), dated March 8, 1844, with a postmark from Port Talbot.
-A letter addressed to Colonel Thomas Talbot from Douglas Fraser (Hamilton), dated March 21, 1848. Shows Hamilton, Brant and Port Talbot postmarks.
- -A letter addressed to Lt. Col. Airey (Port Talbot) from Macphereson & Crane, notifying Airey of a parcel delivery. Dated July 16, 1850. Shows Hamilton, London, St. Thomas and Port Talbot postmarks.
- -A letter addressed to John McKay, Registrar (St. Thomas) from John McKillop (Wallacetown), dated March 11, 1856. Showings St. Thomas and Wallacetown postmarks.
- -A letter addressed to William McKay, County Council Clerk, from Daniel J. McCallum, dated October 3, 1855.
- -A letter addressed to William McKay, County Clerk, from Robert March, Township Clerk, dated January 19, 1854. Shows a postmark from Iona.
