- Three black-and-white negative photographs showing a collision involving an Elgin Co-Operative Services truck and a train.
- W11 B8 132 was published in the West Lorne Sun on December 1st, 1977, with the caption "Elgin Co-op Cob Truck was rammed by this C & O grain car last Wednesday night, causing between $3,000 and $5,000 damage, which employees Ken Colthart and Glen Jones checked out Thursday morning. Apparently the railroad's brakeman, who should have been riding this end of the car, was not, so the engineer did not realize the front of the truck was on the spur, nor that it had been struck. A railway official viewed the damage Thursday morningand said he 'would see about it,' so Co-op officials do not know yet whether the railway is accepting the blame and will pay for replacing the truck or not. Recently, the truck underwent some mechanical improvements. With the frame and body bent, extensive damage to the hoist, the truck is a complete write off and has been replaced."
