- Eva Cosens (nee Thompson) was born in Harrow, Ontario to the late Lennox and Silina Thompson. She was a long-term resident of West Lorne, Ontario with her husband, Sydney Cosens, and was known locally for writing articles on community and historical affairs. She often signed her articles with the initials "ETC". She died on May 29th, 1968 in St. Thomas and is buriend at the Colchester Cemetery in Harrow, Ontario.

- File contains handwritten notes taken from Eva Cosen's notebooks about the history of Rodney, Ontario. Includes information about its name origin after Admiral Rodney, the public and continuation school building that won first prize at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, as well as a brief mention of Rodney's principal industries and churches.
