- Eva Cosens (nee Thompson) was born in Harrow, Ontario to the late Lennox and Silina Thompson. She was a long-term resident of West Lorne, Ontario with her husband, Sydney Cosens, and was known locally for writing articles on community and historical affairs. She often signed her articles with the initials "ETC". She died on May 29th, 1968 in St. Thomas and is buriend at the Colchester Cemetery in Harrow, Ontario.

- File contains handwritten notes taken from Eva Cosen's notebooks about the first settlers of North Aldborough Township. Discusses the first settler on the bank of the Thames River in 1804, James Fleming and his family, who settled in Clachan (Lot 6, Concession 1, Township of Aldborough).
