- Jenny Phillips is an Ontario artist who mainly paints and draws scenes from the countryside of southwestern Ontario. At one point in her artistic career she was labeled ‘the horse artist’ as the animals feature prominently in her works; however, she does not limit herself to just animals.
- She also published a series of cartoons in ‘Farming Today’, which featured her column, ‘Her Story’. This was a popular piece before the publication was ended. She was selected as the featured artist for the 2010 IPM in St. Thomas, Ontario.
- Scope and Content
- This series contains small paintings created by Jenny Phillips. The series consists of two paintings, titled ‘Honouring Elgin’s Past Provincial Ploughing Matches’, as well as their accompanying information cards. The series also contains a biography of the artist.
