- Loose pages from a scrapbook compiled by Ron Payne containing original and photocopied newspaper clippings, published between 1903-2003, with content relating to Colonel Thomas Talbot and the Talbot Estate. Also includes the following items:
- -A pamphlet published for the Talbot Bicentennial in 2003 showing the Calendar of Events.
- -Booklet published by the Talbot Estate Task Force in December 1985, identifying significant aspects of the Talbot Estate and its potential for use and development.
- -A booklet titled "Sidelights on the Talbot Settlement" written by Ella N. Lewis, and published for the Elgin Historical Society in 1938.
- -A black and white photograph showing the Talbot Estate, captured on May 20, 1961. The following information is handwritten on the reverse of the photograph: "Dormer added by Mr. Ker when attic [unveiled] to bedroom in 1958. Garage also added in 1954, built from old timber of Col Talbot's blacksmith shop."
