- Scope and Content
- Black and white negative photographs, featuring the cleanup of a fire at the West Lorne Arena. Captioned: "Crumpled, twisted roofing of West Lorne Arena was all that was left of the buiding Sunday morning. The roof was burned off the machine room, as were both ends of the building. Only a few charred 2 by 4's were left standing in the south corner of the arena where modern new restrooms were installed two years ago. The big power line tower and its high tension wires in the background, were in danger of melting during the height of the fire." Published in the Mercury-Sun on June 12, 1968.
