- Black and white negative photograph, featuring Abbey Thompson, who made his own helicopter in his garage. Captioned: "Abbey Thompson and his helicopter are pictured here in his back yard at Bothwell. As soon as the motor, which appears on the stand at the left, is attached to the tube behind his passenger's seat, the copter will be ready to fly. The machine will be on display just west of Bothwell Community Park, Sunday afternoon." Published by the Mercury-Sun on September 12, 1957. (W11 B5 43)
