- "Honored by association - A number of firms in Elgin and Middlesex Counties received Centennial safety awards last night at the opening of the 1967 October Safety Drive, sponsored by the Industrial Accident Prevention Association of Ontario. Seen from left with their awards are: A.C. Wright, managing director of Wright Lithography, London; E.A. Stocker, wholesale sales supervisor with Silverwood Dairies, St. Thomas; Bert Creighton, past president of the IAPA and works manager of Spartan of Canada Ltd., London, who presented the awards; Daniel O. Stavert, secretary-treasurer of the St. Thomas Times-Journal; A.S. Foreman, secretary-treasurer of the London Hosiery Mills Ltd., London; Arthur Olivastri, general manager of Ontario Dry Cleaners and Dryers Ltd., London; and J. Bud McLaughlin, industrial relations manager of Hayes-Dana Ltd., Thorold, Ont., who was guest speaker." (32)
