- File internally by the Michigan Central Railroad as File No. 1187, this file contains a lease agreement between the Michigan Central Railroad, lessee of the Canada Southern Railway, and Samuel Buxton of Petrolia, dated December 1, 1910. Agreement allows Buxton to lease a parcel of property owned by the Michigan Central Railroad near Petrolia, Ontario, in the Township of Enniskillen. The subject property was located east of Centre Avenue, and south of Blind Line Road, between Concessions 11 and 12. File also contains associated correspondence, from 1908-1911 and includes a plan showing the house and land leased to Buxton, dated December 12, 1910.
