This image was published in the St. Thomas Times-Journal with the following caption: A.B. Cary (left), director of safety for the Chessie System, travelled from the company's main headquarters in Baltimore, Md., to St. Thomas, yesterday to present the Best Locomotive Division Safety Award to Elmer Locke, mechanical superintendent of the locomotive division, Canadian Headquarters, St. Thomas. Also on hand for the special emeting, were J.J. Cassidy, assistant superintendent of the Cadian Division, J.A.F. Craig, assistant general manager of the locomotive department, Huntington, W.
