- In January 1975, Warden Albert Liebner was gowned for office, after winning the honour without opposition. Returning Warden Ronald Lake, Reeve of Belmont, presided over the ceremony, which was one of several when a new Warden took office. Reeve Liebner was successful in hi ssecond bid for the wardenship. He was the first warden from Rodney since the late Ernie Lashbrook was warden in 1938. The village's only other warden was the late James A. McLean, who held the office in the 1920s.
