- Scope and Content
- Two colour photographs of Canadian National Railways Locomotive special troop train waiting for troops to arrive to celebrate the Elgin Regiment's 125th anniversary. Pictured at the crossing of Canadian Pacific Railway and Norfolk Southern Railway lines, the train is composed of restored Locomotive No. 5700, baggage car No. 70740, Port Stanley Terminal Rail coaches No. 51, 52 and 53, and Canadian National Railways Locomotive No. 4136 pushing the train. The event was held on August 31, 1991 and was organized cooperatively by the Canadian National Railways, Canadian National Railways Brotherhoods, Canadian Pacific Railway, Port Stanley Terminal Rail, The Elgin County Railway Museum, the Elgin Regiment, and the Elgin Regiment's Militia.
