- Scope and Content
- Two black and white photographs of Canadian National Railways Locomotive No. 6167, a Confederation type (4-8-4) steam engine, built by Montreal Locomotive Works. The photographs were taken on October 1961, in St. Thomas, Ontario, likely when the engine carried a large group of passengers during an excursion trip for members of the Rochester and Buffalo Chapters, National Railway Historical Society. Over 3000 St. Thomas locals gathered to see the arrival of the train. Two unidentified individuals are pictured in the cab of the engine.
