- "Carolyn Thomas holds "Cub" inside the kennel in the basement of her home. The wall displays some of the hundreds of ribbons won in cat shows over the year." (1a)
- "A former children's playhouse now houses most of the Persian cats at the Thomas property on Sunset Drive." (1b)
