- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published August 6, 1964 with caption: "Honor Family Founders - Observing the 130th anniversary of the coming to Canada of their pioneer ancestors, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Futcher from England, more than 60 family members attended a reunion in Pinafore Park yesterday. The group, shown here, represents several centres in the United States and Canada and many age brackets from members in their infancy to those in their 80s. An historical outline was read and each family presented with the facts in booklet form for the benefit of future generations. The event was the first Futcher family reunion in 30 years." (1)
