- Digitized copy of an original survey plan of the Township of Zone, County of Kent. No information is provided regarding a date of creation or registration for this plan. Scale 1 inch equals 40 chains. Notation reads: "Copy from Mr. Burwell's Plan of Survey." Notation reads: "Order of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Dated the 27th December 1820 - 'That all ungranted Lots containing less than 100 Acres be considered as reserves for a special purpose; and that in all Lots containing less than 200 Acres, the excess of 100 Acres be also reserved'." Annotations dated 1818-1840 show the names of grantees resident on various Township lots. Named geographic and cultural features shown in this plan include "Boundary Line Between the London & Western Districts", Big Bear Creek, Bear Creek, Grand River, Oil Spring, Salt Spring, and a first nations village site on the Grand River marked "Moravian Village". Several lots are marked as reserved for or granted to Mahlon Burwell. Several lots are marked with gray ink (indicating Clergy reserves) and red ink (indicating Crown reserves).
