- Digitized copy of an original survey plan of the Township of Ekfrid, County of Middlesex, registered December 20, 1820, Deputy Surveyor's Office, Port Talbot, Mahlon Burwell, Deputy Surveyor. Plan also includes the notation "Township of Ekfrid, Surveyed by Order from the Surveyor General's Office,bearing date the 19th day of January 1820; containing 70,440 Acres." Scale 1 inch equals 40 chains. Plan includes annotations dated 1830-1844. Various lots shown in the plan are colour in gray and red ink, signifying Clergy (gray) and Crown (red) reserves; or are marked, to the same purpose, "Crown" and "Clergy". Several lots are marked as reserved for or granted to Mahlon Burwell. Named geographic and cultural features shown in this plan include the Thames River, Base Line (road), the "Road Through the Long Woods", "Boundary between Ekfrid and Mosa", "Boundary between Caradoc and Ekfrid", several "mill seat" sites, and an area marked "deep swampy dead water".
