- Black and white photograph of Arthur Oswald Brown, MD, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Brown, included in the Kingsmill-Mapleton Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume One, page 131. Dr. Brown taught at the Kingsmill School around 1900, and graduated from the London Medical School in 1904. He married and moved to Cayley, Alberta, where be practised for 19 years before moving to Los Angeles, California, for a post-graduate course. He then practised in Vancouver, BC, until his death in 1948.
