- Black and white photograph showing Edward Austin Horton, Sr., ca. 1935. Mayor of St. Thomas, 1918-1919. Born 1867; died May 3, 1954, age 86. Father of Dorothy Horton Futcher. Long-serving member of the Board of Governors of Amasa Wood Hospital and Memorial Hospital, St. Thomas. President of the Ontario Oriental Flour Co., St. Thomas, for more than 50 years. Horton was the (unsuccessful) Liberal Party candidate in Elgin West in the Ontario Provincial Election of June 25, 1923.
