- Colour photograph of the property of Kevin and Marguerite Alderton, located on Concession 1, Lot 6, included in the Clachan Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume Five, page 9. The farm was originally purcahsed by James Fleming in 1793. Fleming was likely Elgin's first European settler on the south bank of the Thames River.
