- Report of a Committee of the Whole Council upon the claim of certain persons who have received gratuitous locations of 50 acres from Colonel Talbot with a promise by him, of a further grant of 100 acres from the Crown, dated July 17, 1821. Report was made to His Excellency Peregrine Maitland and signed by William Dummer Powell. This document is described as a "true copy" and signed by John Smale, Clerk of the Executive Council.
- A true copy of a declaration made by Thomas Talbot, October 15, 1818: "I hereby give notice that such persons as may be disposed to settle on my land, that I will give free of costs, fifty acres to each male of seventeen years and upwards, and that in addition, fifty acres of the Crown Lands will be reserved for each person of the above description." Copy produced August 9, 1820 and signed by John Smale.
