- Caption on back of the photograph states: "Stuart Parker, 23 St. Anne’s Place, St. Thomas, explains the procedure of grinding cones to (left to right) Mr. J. Robertson, Plant Engineer, Imperial Tobacco Co., Aylmer, Mr. B.O. Currin, General Manager, Imperial Tobacco Plant, Aylmer, and his office manager, Mr. Douglas Barnes. These men were particularly interested in the new plant as last July, their company too opened a big new $2,000,000 plant in Aylmer, Ont., 12 miles east of St. Thomas”.
