- Two black and white photographs used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 25, 1973 with captions:
- "Oxford-Elgin Golf Champions - The Central Elgin Collegiate institute golf team captured the Oxford-Elgin High School golf tournament for the second straight year yesterday at the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club in Union. The Central team won the Olympia Trophy by some 28 strokes over their nearest rivals, Woodstock Huron Park. Members of the team, left to right, are (front) Kim Donovan, Doug Walker, Kim Mills; (second row) Mark Snowsell, Ian Hume, Jamie Vickerman, and Don McNabb, coach." (26a)
- "Winning Putt - Doug Walker of Central Elgin Collegiate Institute putts (above) and then raises his hands in trimph (below) as he watches the ball sink to score a birdie in the first playoff hole to win the individual title in the Oxford-Elgin high school golf tournament at Union, Monday. Doug defeated two of his teammates on the whole, all of whom has scores of 79 at the end of 18 holes." (26b)
