- Scope and Content
- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published October 12, 1960 with caption: "Vanishing Breed - It was not too long ago that a team of horses and a hand-held plow was the only way to plow a field. Spectators at the I.P.M. yesterday, especially the younger ones, showed a keen interest in the horse plowing class as many had never seen the sturdy animals at work. In the above photo Jim McCloy, of R.R. 2, Southwold, is pictured putting his two-horse team through their paces."
