- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal published October 22, 1966 with caption: "A Straight Furrow - All eyes were on the plow today as the Elgin County plowing match got under way on the farm of Albert Andrews at R.R. 6, St. Thomas. The day was perfect for competitions in six classes and the eighth annual horshoe pitching contest scheduled for 2 p.m. By 9 a.m., many plowmen had already moved their equipment to the farm to begin practising for the match."
