- Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published September 25, 1954 with caption: "Chishold Family Monument, Old St. Thomas Church Cemetery. The momument marks the graves of seven members of an aristocratic family of early settlers in Southwold Township who died within a period of seven years. They were William Chisholm, his wife, Frances Oswold Grant Chisholm, and five of their six children. The unusual momument was erected by the child who survived, R.B. Chisholm, who left these parts as a youth, following the tragic fate of his family, to make a fortune in California and Utah". Republished in "Centennial Album" feature, April 18, 1981.
