Ltd. is to close its St. Thomas store December 31, 1981, shuttering one of the longest-surviving stores in the city and the sole remaining five and 10-cent establishment in the city. Woolworth is discussing a replacement outlet for the chain." The Old Strand Billiards Parlour and Arcade is visible on the second floor.
